Procedures of Application in Central South University (CSU)

1. Applicants who are willing to obey the Law of China and rules of our university, healthy and can offer intact application materials, please contact the Overseas Students Office of the International Exchange Division and present the following materials:

(a) The completed "Application Form" which can be downloaded from our website.
(b) Record of education and school reports (copies are acceptable)
(c) Copies of passport
(d) Health Certificates from a public hospital
(e) Two recommendation letters (for postgraduates only)

2. After a verification of qualification, we will offer the admission notice from Central South University (CSU)

3. Applicants can apply for student visa in their country with the original copies of Admission notice and JW2O1 or JW2O2 form.

4. Application time is from March to July every year for the students studying for degrees, no time limitation for the advanced and language-learning students.

Application Conditions

For undergraduate study: applicants should have an educational background equal to high school graduation in China and have Band III certificate in HSK (Examination on Chinese language level), or have studied Chinese for one year or more.

For master-degree study: applicants should have an educational background equal to a bachelor's degree in China and have Band III certificate in HSk, or have studied Chinese for one year or more.

For doctor-degree study: applicants should have an educational background equal to a Master's degree in China and have Band III certificate in HSK, or have studied Chinese for one year or more.

For advanced study: applicants should have an educational background equal to or higher than a bachelor's degree in China, and have to apply for a furtherance of the same or related specialties they have pursued before.
