150 additional MBBS in China seats to be filled in July

MBBS in China: In Hyderabad, when the first round of seminars and spot-on admissions begins in the first week of July, there will be 110 new seats on offer, combined in two Medical Universities. These seats include the 50 extra seats sanctioned by the Medical Council of India, which we had mentioned in our earlier article, refer : 50 more MBBS seats at Shihezi Medical University from this year

“Later 50 more seats for MBBS study in China will be filled in the second round of seminars and spot-on admissions which will be held in the second week of July in Chennai and Trichy. The distribution of the 50 seats under the appointed franchisee agent from Tamil Nadu had to be worked out so the seats will be filled by the end of July,” General Manager (CMEI), Mr. Ava said.

He said that the 40 seats at the Shihezi University – School of Medicine at Xinjiang have already been filled, and the remaining 60 seats for this Medical University will be filled in the second round of seminars.

“All the seats including the Medical Universities of Guangxi, Jiamusi, Qingdao and Tianjin have been approved already by the Medical Council of India and have started accepting the applications from the first week of June. The other Medical Universities, seats will also be filled in the second and third round of seminars and spot-on admissions which are held in third and fourth week of July, in Delhi, Gujarat and Punjab.” Ava said.

“We cannot say anything for sure, but usually the admissions close down by the end of July or first week of August after the third and fourth round of seminars and spot-on admissions as more and more students are looking for MBBS admissions to study in China because of the rupee depreciation factor in India. Our first round of admissions has been completed and all the seats are filled for now. So if any new students want to enroll, they should apply to us as soon as possible and not wait for any other University in India under the waiting list. They might lose the chance of studying MBBS abroad too,” Ava said.

The China MBBS Educational Institution (CMEI) conducts seminars and spot-on admissions all over India at various locations and appoints franchisee agents to enroll the students for the MBBS degree course. Based on its results CMEI draws a list of names on their official website who have been admitted in different Medical Universities in China for studying medicine.
