MBBS in China: Aspiring medical students from Chennai can now look forward to an expanded medical education in China as 30 fresh spot admissions have been presented in Trichy for Shihezi University. In the next coming days the spot admissions will be held in Chennai and other parts of India.
Of which, the China MBBS Educational Institution (CMEI) VP, Ms. Becky Zhang has given her approval to 50 fresh MBBS seats in Delhi as well as some parts of Chandigarh and Gujarat. The delegates from China will also have seminars and spot admissions in these cities for the next couple of weeks.
These new seats come close on the total number of 300 plus students which CMEI has promised to its franchisee agents in India and our blog readers for September, 2012 intake of MBBS in China.
Medical students have also reasons to cheer now, as these Universities are recognized by WHO and MCI and are the most affordable Universities to study as compared to India or any other foreign countries.
Among the new fresh MBBS admissions accepted by CMEI, it also includes admissions in medical Universities like Guangxi Medical University, Jiamusi University, Tianjin University and Nanjing University. Among the cities, where the remaining seminars will be held includes Chennai, Calicut, Cochin, Bangalore, Delhi, Chandigarh, Ahmedabad (where the franchisee agents allotted by CMEI will organize and guide the students for the application procedure of studying MBBS in China).
The CMEI last year had registered 200 fresh MBBS admissions in 5 medical colleges in China recognized by Medical Council of India.
The new fresh admissions in Shihezi University would help the parents and students to cover-up the existing imbalance in the dollar to rupee exchange rate overheads, officials said.
With the CMEI and Shihezi University coming into operation, the overall expenditure for a MBBS degree course for one year would come to around 2.5 lacs so the number of students would also rise.
