Ms. Becky Zhang recently spoke to The Hindu Newspaper in Chennai on studying MBBS in Shihezi University. Ms. Zhang, who was in Chennai as part of a seminar and spot admissions scheduled for Indian students to study MBBS in China, discussed sending Indian students to Chinese Medical schools.
Ms. Zhang noted the increase in the number of parents sending their children to study MBBS in China and the advantages over studying the medical degree course in India. She also discussed the benefits and opportunities that can come from studying in China, having years of experience in education consulting. She said that choosing the correct medical university and developing mutual trust are the key drivers for the parents.
“Indian students will build their international trust through their friends at school, who are also likely to become future doctors without paying huge donations,” she said, adding that Indian children currently exert a powerful attraction on students from other countries. “China is such a powerful economic entity and more and more students from India are coming to study medical education in China, to make their dreams come true.” General Manager, CMEI, Ava was also present and spoke about the growing desire for MBBS education among middle class Indian families.
“It is like a common student with brilliant mind and less money can also dream and become as a responsible and an amazing doctor, these schools offer a chance to get admission at an affordable price.”
