China MBBS Educational Institution (CMEI) and Shihezi University – School of Medicine, has asked the students to confirm their MBBS admissions by the end of August, or warned that they would lose the seats allotted to them. The students still have to submit their passport copies to the CMEI officials for their visa process in China.
As many as 65 students who were allotted undergraduate MBBS seats in the first stage of the seminars held by CMEI in South India have not yet submitted their passport copies, which is very important to start the process of a student’s visa in China.
The CMEI has asked the students to confirm admission by end of August. Else, the seats allotted to them would be cancelled, it warned.
A total of 185 students have paid the fees and collected admission orders by 15th of August for other Chinese Medical Universities which are authorized by CMEI, including Qingdao University, Tianjin Medical University and Guangxi Medical University.
These included 60 students in Guangxi Medical University, 40 students in Tianjin Medical University, 40 students in Qingdao Medical University and 45 students in Jiamusi Medical University. But only 25 students among 65 students for Shihezi University did not submit their passport copies and nor informed the CMEI of their admission to the colleges so far.
The second stage of the admission process has been started on August 15 where the students have to submit all their documents to CMEI including the passport copies. The process will go on till the end of August.
In the coming round, only students who submit the complete set of documents at once will be eligible to take part in Shihezi University for studying MBBS in China.
If any student has some issues with the passport authorities and guarantees that the document will arrive soon, then the student should inform the local franchisee agent and CMEI in advance.
