MBBS in China seminars gained popularity among Indian students

The China MBBS Educational Institution (CMEI) has opened a portal to China, and several Indian students are planning to walk through it to find their MBBS seat in the Chinese Universities.

Suresh Maurya ’18 – one of 200 students participating in this year’s seminars in Gujarat conducted by CMEI for admissions in Shihezi University – is all set to continue his medical studies in China. His goal is to become an aspiring doctor and practice his skills in the US.

“I found this seminar to be a great resource to gain knowledge about China and its outstanding infrastructure, plus the facilities provided for the Indian students by the University,” said Suresh. “I believe in today’s uneven economy it is extremely important to find a suitable and affordable destination to study MBBS abroad and China is the best option for students like me.”

These seminar sessions conducted by Ms. Becky Zhang, VP, CMEI allowed students “to learn about the advantages of studying MBBS in China, which also is a world recognized degree course. Even the student can practice as a doctor in western countries after the degree course of 5 years,” said seminar organizer and GM to CMEI, Ava. He stays in China and handles all the operations of CMEI in China and takes care of non-academic needs of the students on campus.

At CMEI, the Service and Management Team began to plan these seminars from last February. The CMEI Management Team allotted various franchisee agents in different states in India who are capable and well renowned in their cities. The CEO of CMEI is very much glad, the way these seminars are going on since last one month and has announced a full-fledged franchisee team for China MBBS Educational Institution. This list of the franchisee agents of CMEI will be published on the official website by the end of this year.

“This trip to India was informative for many Indian students, to take the right decision to study MBBS in China,” Ms. Zhang said.

More than 60% of the students from the seminars have enrolled in various Chinese Medical Universities offered by CMEI. The MBBS degree semester will start in the month of October and the process of applying the student’s visa has already been started.
